3. Continue daily for 40 days until completed.
The Journey: the choice is yours
1. You can do this all on your own.
2. You can do this with the support and encouragement of a friend or a group.
3. You can reach out to us for support, encouragement and accountability.
The experience: keep it simple and real
1. Set aside a time where you are alone and undistracted.
2. Read, listen and ponder in your heart what Jesus is saying and doing.
3. Keep a daily journal and review it weekly.
The promises: Jesus gives you many
1. Forgiveness, acceptance, peace and oneness with Him, His Heavenly Father and one another.
2. Spiritual new birth into the family of God with purpose and the power to love and serve Him and one another.
3. Eternal life in a resurrected spiritual body just like His.
Here's some helpful trail markers for you:
Your objective is to learn how to hear Him, come to know Him or know Him better. To understand what He is saying to you personally so that you walk with Him in His words and way.
Note along the way that Jesus said "except we become like a little child we can not enter into the Kingdom of God". A practical way to understand what He meant and apply that into our coming to Him is to read His words like a child would read them for the very first time. Without prejudice, bias or our own or others opinions. Open your heart to hear what He is saying, believe Him and then do what He teaches. Like a child would do with his parents and teachers.
This is not a "head" journey it's a "heart" journey. As you read and listen, ask yourself what is Jesus speaking to my heart. What insight or information does He want me to know and understand? What does He want me to do or not do?
