Prophecy of Jesus:
When He comes the deaf will hear and the blind will see

Prophecy

On that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of the deep darkness the eyes of the blind will see. Isaiah 29:18

Then the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Isaiah 35:5

Fulfillment

The blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. Matthew 11:5

Then Jesus declared, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind may see and those who see may become blind.” John 9:39

So John called two of his disciples and sent them to ask the Lord, “Are You the One who was to come, or should we look for someone else?”When the men came to Jesus, they said, “John the Baptist sent us to ask, ‘Are You the One who was to come, or should we look for someone else?’”At that very hour Jesus healed many people of their diseases, afflictions, and evil spirits, and He gave sight to many who were blind. So He replied , “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. Luke 7:19-22

The people were utterly astonished and said, “He has done all things well! He makes even the deaf hear and the mute speak!” Mark 7:37
